Trully, i have experienced same, but i am not from USA. Dc all day long in any server.

I'm living on the east coast of the US and play on the VA server channel 1, no issues except when i try to leave angel baby running overnight, almost always dcs shortly after leaving the client idle for an extended period, makes me think its built in.
