try to turn off avast. Sometimes anti-virus keeps you from running the game. If it still doens't work. Re-install the game and don't let it update automatically, instead download the latest patch and run it as administrator.

Turn off your Anti Virus and Go to Virus Chest and recover your Angel.dat file
