Alright, after talking in another thread I've decided that we need a decent bug list that needs be addressed for the sanity of the game.
In AO/ALO a lot of bugs became part of the "norm" and people just accepted it. Please report bugs here you noticed that you'd like to maybe seen fixed and I'll add to the general list.
1) Skill ball bug/exploit. Right now there's very few people that don't know about this problem. But when a player uses a skill ball on a low level skill it'll gain a few levels and stop at 100.00% for that level. Upon gaining any exp the skill will level up sometimes still staying at 100.00% sometimes resetting itself to normal. This can be stacked over and over again by using 5, 10 even 20 skill balls on the same skill to take a skill, even mantle, from lvl 1 to max. This is absolutely new as far as I know to AOPVP and should absolutely be addressed by the admins.

2) Finesse sword glitch. Now I know shield + shadowblade was a major problem in AO and apparently was fixed there or here but the same should definitely be done to the double swords, sword+axe, double axe glitch without finesse. This completely takes any drawbacks from going swordy by allowing a player to have another open skill slot while using 2 weapons without any reprecussions.

3) Angry Charge  & Lightning Jab teleportation issues. This bug might be a bit harder to fix but I definitely think it's possible. When in TW if a player is near/outside the gate and runs inside while another player dashes to them the player can get behind the gate in Totem War. Completely killing people inside the "safe area". This issue isn't seen in HB(at least I've never heard of it being done there) so it must be fixable...

4) Shapeshift + Demonic Barrier/Other Skills glitching. This bug has always confused me... For one the fact that someone discovered this issue and was easily able to reproduce it yet the admins never fixed it.. The issue should definitely be fixable if you just don't make the 2 overlap. make demonic barrier the same as every other skill and just take the player out of the shapeshift...

I think the skill ball glitch is part of a larger problem that probably isn't AOPVP specific, but tbf I didn't play much on IGG. Even when I win in HB my skills get glitched out in the same way, which at least shows it isn't specifically due to the skill balls and it's just something related to how skill exp is calculated when leveling up. Plus, nobody wants to skill forever and even if it is unintended I don't see how this specific glitch has a negative impact on anyone

I do think it's an issue, it's an unintended problem within the game. They already have increased skill exp rates, free skill balls, like what more do people want? With the speed they're releasing content maybe having players take 2-3 weeks to skill up rather than 1 week to max everything is good..

Sure its unintended, but I don't think its a problem that's easy to fix... Like I said it can happen when you gain large amounts of skill exp from any source so it's an issue with the way things are calculated by the game itself and (imo) there wont be a quick solution. Talking about the speed of expansions though, I think it's too early to say if there's gonna be enough time for people to max or not, we don't really know until they actually release Shuwa. Sequoia opened 5.5 weeks ago and most players still have days and days of leveling before they can even reach a level to buy most of the top skills even if they were maxed out. It's a private server after all, I don't think people are here to spend weeks skilling for one build, especially w/ the server issues.

I'm just saying, if skill experience pacing is an issue exploiting a bug isn't the way to go about it....
I played AO-IGG for YEARS and I never once saw this skill exp thing happen. I have leveled multiple accounts to lvl 250+ or 300 for my main and I never saw this happen for any skill.

Before Sequioa everyone was level 181 and near max skills without 300k skill balls... I don't think it'll be too surprising if everyone is 215+ with maxed skill by the time shuwa releases since I don't see Shuwa coming out for 3-4 weeks.

I'll give you that then, like I said never really played enough on IGG to remember any of that . I do agree that we shouldn't have to exploit a bug but they said they were going to increase lux skill balls to fill at a 4:1 rate rather than 1:1 and that never happened, and that was even before Sequoia was released. If that change actually went through, I wouldn't have any gripes w/ removing the skill ball glitch if possible but at this point people would spend over 1 week to max out a single skill if the glitch didn't exist, which personally I don't think is how it should be on a private server called AOPVP. Should be less of a focus on the more afk grindy parts of the game and moreso on actual pvp but I suppose that's a conversation for a different post

Skill ball glitch exists in igg too. 9m svs easly trigger it. And ofc it shouldn't be removed.

He grow up all vos skill yo max with the bug and now he reported..... The admin should remove all levels with the bug i think....
