How this game should be fixed

Let me first start by saying I do understand that for a game to develop it needs to be profitable; however, all GOOD MMORPG games need to move away from Pay to Win that is currently running rampant. It will make a game seem VERY good for awhile then slowly become stagnant.

If the current development of this server continues this will be no different.  So here, in my opinion, is how to fix it:

Remove all S Class and above (Jaded/Zionic/etc...) weapons and armor from all bags. I'm not asking removal of V Class skills; however, lower drop rate from bags and slightly increase drop rate from mobs(/Bosses). Get more players interested in the camping and farming aspect while also focusing on the class that were neglected (Producers). There is a vast market that has NEVER been tapped before for these 3 classes (WpnSmith/ArmorSmith/Technician). If the current server were to focus on this profits would be much higher than is current. More people would not only go for V Skills for their fighters but also focus on furn/houses/skl card/etc..... to lv producers along with it.

Which is a far better solution than what has been seen in the past. ie: Spam bags til best items in game, spam a bit more for enhancements for those items, then no need to spam more; game gets stagnant and user quits.

If anyone feels differently please post your own opinions and why; however, please do remember to include your time and expericne playing AO to justify your reasoning. You may call this a "brag" but I remember BETA days and all my experiences from then til now when I write this. Worst thing IGG ever did was put any type of S (Z/JG) item in the item mall.

2. Prod are treated unfairly (specially when an ahole drag a mob to kill ur prod what a d move)
3. Hb is boring for low lvl (they cant do nothing but sit n hope they r in winning team lol)

So first JG/Zionic or any type of TOP etc items should not be added in the game, strongest items need to be S class items.

Lucky Bags are too rushed, before people have S class items they release new lucky bags and kill the whole point of farming goods or S class.

Producers Skill Exp should be reduced with about 50-70% so that producers can skill up as fast as Mages and Fighters.

With the x3 drop rates and lucky cards you can easily farm 20 goods and turn into an S class, but know what ? Highest skill producers atm are like 100-110 skill and those are the hardcore producers spamming skill vouchers and balls none stop to level their skills.

We are already getting a level cap increase and we have not even 1 producer with level 140+ skills that can create gear on the current level cap.

Lucky Bags and AB incentivize not playing the game and believe me once nostalgia runs our for most players in 1-2 months we are gonna lose more then 50% of our current playerbase.

Number 1: Delay adding Lucky Bags for highest level as much as possible, so that people actually go and farm normals/goods/s class, make this game an MMORPG not an MMOAFK

Number 2: Reduce Skill Exp needed from producers so they can actually skill on par with Melee and Mages

Number 3: Every item crafted from a producer should have a 100% lucky hammer roll, for example u craft a bow and u get 300/800 green atk bonus, this will make producers super wanted for fusion weapons.

Number 4: Buff Orders for Producers, increase the exp, reputation, gold they give by x20 so that they are worth doing.

Number 5: Buff Exp, Gold, Drop Rates from instances to motivate people to actively farm and progress in instances or in groups and play together as an MMO game, make them more worth doing then just saving a few alts AB for gold and ur main 24/7 AB for EXP

Number 6: Unlock level 5 Spells above level 120 and give them a decent drop rate like 0.30%

Number 7: Rename server to AngelsPvE cause there is no PVP in this server, Change the Totem Battle system, Thorn Westland will have Totem War every Saturnday for 2 hours, All other Maps will have Totem War everyday and Totem War time will be 2 Hours instead of 1. That way instead of the PvP being empty 24/7 and people only going to TW and LW once a week or 2 times depending on ur timezone, this gonna be a PVP server like in the fucking name of the server AngelsPVP

I do agree with most of what cloud said. Jade Green and Zionic, alongside the pd vouchers (also the weapon vouchers) just killed the game for me back then. And the updates here are way too fast.

Just in December we had the first enchanted pd set and right off the bat in late december/january we got the military one. To top it all off now we're gonna get another new set and bags in February. People need to catch up with the level cap and the things we have at the moment before advancing to a new update.

Also, it's my first time using a prod (weaponsmith) and it doesn't quite feel rewarding in any shape or form. Producer's rate for a and s class items are completely crap, orders take a lot of time and they give minimal rewards. And just after you finally level that weapon skill to 61,71,81 or something higher, the lucky bags are one step ahead of you.

Totem wars are utterly boring. 40 mins to break a crystal and 2 hours for the totem.

Instances should give more incentives to the players that run them (gold or drops). I remember playing also a private server of Ragnarok and there i did feel rewarded by doing hard maps (equip and cards).

And this is a random idea but i think it would be nice: have a special area when you're alone and can attack a jackstraw or something that you can edit his stats (attack, defense,etc) or a specific mob (could be a instance mob or boss), in order to give you an idea of your power as a player.

This game can be given a new life.

I dont agree with the most u guys said. I think the game is in a nice way, its not pay to win, ofc if u want fast Money u can use ag to make Money faster, but since its so easy to have, the price of AG in gold is so low. About prods i think need to rethink about and bring the pro prods to speak here whats their opinion...

Also I agree producer classes are unbalance in game. And anyone who thinks AG is only a way to make gold is lacking basic skills of farming and grinding gold. Drops can be sold for money if drop rates increased and even in higher lv maps the drops sell for a decent amount of gold.

JG/Z Equips broke the game, in my opinion. Enchanted PD, Rare rides, and equips are ok if you want to base an income around.


So also to add what was said, I agree that producers need improvement to be relevant. Suft exp/gold increases, higher possibility of A/S Class items. Better bonuses on items when created (combine this with possible house buffs to improve).

As it is, only 2 production classes are relevant: Chefs (food buffs), and Tailors (Backpack creation)
