Robot Cores

I got a bunch up good collecting and producing cores for my robots but some are too high level for me to use right now. I'm wondering if cores can be replaced later on in a robot or if they are permanent? I want to know if I should wait till I'm level enough to add the best cores or can I add lower level ones while I get there and then replace them with the best ones?

Cores are permanent. They can't be replaced when inserted. Just go lv up.

I think the highest core atm require like level 120. Wont take long to hit that lvl, so just go for it
